Dena learned the art of tattooing from her husband, who happens to be Tank, about 18 years ago. During those years, she went back to school, earned an Associates in Science, an Associates in Art, and a Bachelor's in Nursing, and has been working as an RN since 1992. She also has been doing body piercing for twelve years and permanent makeup for the last five years. She received her basic and advanced training certification from Avanti Permanent Cosmetic Institute in Wisconsin. Dena has four daughters and one granddaughter. Tank is outnumbered. In whatever spare time she may have, she enjoys writing, painting, drawing, and learning more about enhancing her skills. She still hasn't decided what she wants to be when she grows up.
