Tank is the owner of Tank's Tattoos and a Master tattoo artist with over 20 years of tattooing experience. A successful teacher of the art, he has taught many. Three of his apprentices have gone on to own successful businesses and many have become award winning artists. He involved his family in the business teaching his wife, two of his four daughters, and his cousin Jason. One of his proudest moments was when his daughter Nicole won a first place trophy at a local tattoo contest for her artwork at the age of twelve. He has the coolest and most beautiful wife. He says she is the best, better than him. She really kicks ass (sometimes his). Tank ran his business in Detroit Lakes for 10 years and recently moved to Glyndon for a bigger building and an awesome location. Tank has won many awards for his artwork throughout the years (yes, he can piss farther than some) and continues to work hard at improving his pissing skills. While he was in Detroit Lakes he decided to run for mayor. Although he didn't win, he received over a third of the votes-not bad for a "tattoo guy." He managed two tattoo shops in Illinois: Six Corners tattoos and Hook's tattoo Mania before moving to Minnesota. Tank learned from master tattoo artist, the late, Pat Bodzianowski of Pat's Tattoos in Lockport, Illinois. After all these years, he still enjoys the art of tattooing. Many people suggest that he change his nickname from Tank to Jeep. Since he had gastric bypass in April of 2004, he is now half a Tank and feeling great. (plus he was too damn lazy to go on a diet.)
